What’s next?

The Senate will consider the conference report next week, probably pass it on Wednesday or Thursday unless there really is a problem securing the votes.  We’ll stay on top of it.

Many of the “reforms” will take effect right away including the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.   But it will take at least six months for the agency to get up a running and doing stuff.   Could be a little longer.  We’ll stay on top of that as well.
