June 22, 2010 | federal legislation, industry | Comments (0)Senator Schumer said some mean things about the industry as well as mortgage lenders and other non-bank industries, but didn’t offer an amendment for further regulation.
They will probably finish the consumer protection section of the bill tonight and ultimately, it appears that the “bureau” not “agency” version of the entity will prevail.
