She did NOT call up her amendment…that means she is still NOT PENDING…she will have to get UC to get it up and pending…
Hagan said that her amendment was common sense legislation that protects Main street.
Durbin asked Hagan if Congress had passed a similar law with respect to military families. She answered yes. Hagan continued to explain that her amendment would protect all famility and would allow for short term advances. She noted that there is a limit of loans per year.
Hagan asked for UC to call up #3744. Senator Shelby objected. Hagan yielded the floor.
