The Left hates Gutierrez, too
July 9, 2009 | alternatives, federal legislation, industry | Comments (0)Not personally, but his payday lending reform bill, H.R. 1214. African-American columnist Errol Louis rails at African-American Congressmen who co-sponsored the bill. But at least Louis is honest. He doesn’t want “reform”:
Even better would be to scrap the Gutierrez bill and commit to putting financial predators out of business for good.
Louis offers no alternatives to consumers needing short-term loans. He’s a purist: an unapologetic nanny-state, ban anything I don’t like, idealogue.
