VOTE YES ON ISSUE 5 AND VOTE YES FOR OBAMA. OBAMA WILL PASS AN ANTI-PAYDAY LENDING LAW TO PUT THESE LOSERS OUT OF BUSINESS FOR GOOD.

Columbus Dispatch Poll:
State Issue 5: Payday-lending referendum
69% YES. Uphold the interest-rate limit of 28% imposed by the General Assembly.

31% NO. Allow payday lenders to charge 391% annual percentage rate.

And stop spamming this blog, Terry, posting your hateful comments repeatedly to different entries. Either the Pundit is taking some well-deserved time off or s/he is being incredibly merciful in not deleting your odious remarks.

You’re a good example of the type of person who wants to eliminate payday lending.

Would you really believe any poll conducted by the Columbus Dispatch? They aren’t exactly an unbiased source of info.

5. Neal - November 2, 2008

No, Glenn, I would believe the Payday Pundit, the most unbiased source of information.

The Dispatch is known as the most conservative Ohio paper and was the last paper to endorse a yes on 5.

I think you are in a for a long night Tuesday.

The Columbus Dispatch has been wrong on most of their polls. A few years ago there were four issues called the “Reform Ohio Now” issues. The Dispatch showed all four winning, two of them by a 2-1 margin. In the end they all four went down by huge margins.

Look at every other poll on candidates or issues; this is the only poll I have seen that has 0% undecided. Does anyone really believe that there are 5% of the people who after 21 months can not decide whom to vote for in the Presidential race, yet everyone has a clear view of Issue 5???

Terry, i should have you know that even if the payday loans goes out of business your loan is still due and will be collected on OR it will go into a collections account to negatively effect your credit score. I’m pretty sure this is the reason that insignificant, uneducated and useless people like yourself use the voting system as a way of revenge.

You credit rating is probably in to 430’s prepare for tough times ahead, you should have just paid it off

See there you go again trying to distort the truth. I have a right to comment. If you don’t like it …delete it. 24 hours and payday lenders are history. Bye Bye!

Thomas Suddes is a coward, not to mention an ignoramus and ideologue. We engaged in a brief email exchange — which you can find on this blog — and I completely dismantled his fallacious arguments one after the other.

Did he respond? Of course not. That’s what cowardly ideologues do.
