Introduce TV Ad
Columbus― Ohioans For Financial Freedom today introduced a second television ad supporting efforts to encourage Ohioans to protect their financial choices.
The 30 second ad says:
SPOT NAME: “Mom”
On Screen Talent:
“They’re at it again.”
“No. Not them… our politicians.”
“They’ve passed a law that takes away my financial choices”
“If Evan gets sick before payday, and I need a hundred dollar advance to cover my co-pay, it costs fifteen dollars… that’s my choice”
“Who are they to keep me from doing what I think is best for my family?”
“If you have a chance to sign a petition to protect our financial choices, and keep the reforms we need… do it.”

Ohioans For Financial Freedom is currently circulating petitions in Ohio with summary language approved by the Attorney General. It:
- Repeals section (3) of H.B. 545 offering consumers more lending options
- Allows for short-terms loans to be made under H.B. 545
Repealing Section 3 of H.B. 545 means protecting 6,000 good-paying jobs with benefits, protecting Ohioans’ financial freedom and protecting consumers’ rights to privacy about their personal financial choices.
