A diverse coalition of groups is attempting to make a final push for approval of tougher regulations on payday lenders with only two days before a legislative deadline passes and the bill is dead for another year.

These people have a lot of time on their hands.

    Kressig doesn’t run my business! 36% will put me out of businesse along with my employees and the 2500 other PDL employees statewide! This will kill more jobs for Iowa and put Iowa Business owners out of business!

    to be honest, in Ohio we are surviving at a 28% APR, so even if they pass their bill, there are always alternative loans

    They have no time because many of them have never had real jobs! Apparently “Activism,” is now a job. Just ask our president.

    But we were able to change our product and keep running with out a lapse in business, and …shh….. we are making more money!
