April 26, 2010 | Uncategorized | Comments (0)How do laws morph into loopholes to fit an argument…..? Payday lenders in Ohio were told to switch to these so-called loopholes by the same advocates and the legislaters who are now crying foul…This is the latest round of Big government in a state which is losing jobs at an alarming rate. The politicians of Ohio need to stop the bleeding and try to help keep jobs instead of forcing companies out of business.Payday lending like all financial industries cant always wear the white hats because they lend money and cant control, nor do they want to,personal responsibility of there customers…The only way to regulate personal responsibility is to take away peoples freedoms….NO THANKS OHIO
“Test Vote” will take place on Monday
April 22, 2010 | Uncategorized | Comments (2)Here’s the latest from Roll Call:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) announced the chamber would hold a test vote Monday on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Chairman Chris Dodd’s (D-Conn.) financial regulatory reform bill, threatening Republicans to vote against the sweeping measure that has picked up momentum in recent days.
“This is very simple. If they’re ready to move to the bill, that’s what we’re going to do,” Reid told reporters Thursday. Otherwise, Reid said, the Senate would hold a Monday cloture vote to try to move to the measure.
“There’s been plenty of time. We don’t need three more months,” Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said, joining the chorus of Democratic leaders who vowed to press ahead with or without Republican support.
Reid will have to pick off at least one Republican to secure the 60 votes needed to move the bill forward, and it is not clear whether any GOP Member will break ranks to proceed.

April 21, 2010 | Uncategorized | Comments (0)This is laughable….we want a goverment agency to regulate over something thats all ready regulated by the state and federal governments…..who will regulate over them?,and so on and so on….And we still have APR being the calculation on all loans two week loans or 30 year loans….Its like who was the better ball player Hank Aaron or Jim Brown????????? Aaron hit more home runs but Brown scored more touchdowns…..I think these guys meet to much..seems like every week they got a new regulation coming down the pipe that takes a little more freedom away..Maybe we could cap the pay for politicians at national average…12.00 an hour.then maybe there focus would be on real issues that one cannot control and worry less about issues of personal responsiblity….
