Senators are now in a period of morning debate and will resume debate of financial regulatory reform at approximately 3:00 p.m. There are expected to be several roll call votes beginning at 5:30.
The following amendments will likely be voted on:
- a Udall (CO) amendment that would increase individual access to credit scores
- a Cornyn amendment addressing the IMF
- a Rockefeller/Hutchison amendment dealing with the Federal Trade Commission
- a Bond/Warner/Dodd amendment addressing angel investors
The Majority Leader mentioned that he could file cloture as soon as tonight if Republicans continue to delay the process. He said the end must come and that the Senate must send this to conference so that legislation can be signed by President Obama.
