The House Financial Services Committee met to markup the Consumer Financial Protection Agency bill.   They were delayed by floor votes and the “Derivatives” bill.  There was mild discussion of payday lending, but no serious discussion of amendments nor any substantive votes.  Action resumes on Tuesday at 2:00.
