Confusion over Issue 5

October 23, 2008 | NPR, Ohio, media coverage, states | Comments (1)

NPR covers the issue of Ohio voters being confused on whether a YES or NO gets the appropriate results they want.

A vote YES sustains the rate cap.  A vote NO overturns the rate cap.  It’s that simple.

NPR…..I live in Ohio.I can read and decide for myself. This is just an attempt by politicians to save face when this gets over turned.Bill Faith gave these guys a song and dance how payday lending was so terrible and would just go away if they passed the law.WRONG…….They have taken the fight right to these guys and what have they found?………That most people in Ohio dont want government to tell them how to spend there money.Bottom line the lenders win and the super advocates cry foul….WHATS NEW. VOTE NO ON ISSUE 5
