The Akron Beacon Journal is for shutting down the payday industry in Ohio and the loss of 6,000 jobs.  From today’s story:

COAST takes it to Akron

The Coalition Opposed to Additional Spending and Taxes was in Akron yesterday making a case for a “NO” vote on the payday lending referendum.   Remember, a NO vote is the pro-consumer choice position.
