Final thoughts about the CFSA conference
March 9, 2010 | Uncategorized | Comments (0)Interesting, provocative speakers. Industry leaders were generally upbeat about the future of the industry but wary of the proposed CFPA. In fact, industry lobbyists were so busy in Washington, they didn’t come to the conference for the first time in years.
I asked everyone I ran into during my travels–cab drivers, hotel workers, fellow travelers–how the economy was affecting their business. All said business, and income, was down, but everyone was keeping things in perspective. They had jobs, knew people who didn’t–so they were grateful.
