That’s what Marc Kilmer of the Buckeye Institute calls the Ohio rate cap law. From his letter in the Zanesville Times Recorder:
The payday lending ban passed by legislators was based on misleading anecdotes and politically-driven “research” that bears no relation to actual payday lending practices.
