Senator Ray Miller claims to be “elated” to vote for this “outstanding piece of legislation.” In his statement urging his colleagues to ban payday lending, he refers multiple times to the “check cashing industry” and the “unbanked” customers. Too bad Senator Miller didn’t take the time to learn the basics of the industry and customers before he cast his vote.
The quintessential quote, “we need to save people from themselves.”

I do not live in his district thankfully! I hope all that do see that he is arrogant and more about himself than the people of Ohio and vote him out of office. How dare an elected official say he has to protect the people from themselves!!! How does he know what we need!!!!

He is “elated” and I am beyond DISGUSTED!!! I don’t live in his district either, but I will make sure I let him know how I feel about his elitist, uncalled for remarks.
